Deadpool & Wolverine continues to do big business at the box office after its 2nd weekend in theaters. Director Shawn Levy’s film easily remained at #1, earning an estimated $97 million (a 54% drop) here in the states, placing it at $395.6 million. That already makes it the highest-grossing R-rated movie in the USA, besting Passion of the Christ ($370.7 million).
Internationally, the Ryan Reynolds & Hugh Jackman’s juggernaut earned around $428.5 million (a 41% drop), bringing its worldwide total to $824.1 million. It’s fully on track to cross the $1 billion mark when all is said and done, making it another huge success for Marvel Studios and movies in general.
