Ryan Reynolds Wants ‘More Blade’ Beyond DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE Appearance

Ryan Reynolds wants to see more Blade. The Deadpool & Wolverine star took to social media to share various stills of the actor in the film and behind the scenes. “The reaction when Wesley Snipes enters the movie is the most intense thing I’ve heard in a theater,” he wrote in a post. “People screaming with uninhibited joy and love is also the sound of a legacy. More Blade please.”

The final scene featuring Blade and the Void warriors gives a noticeable hint that we may be seeing more of them in the future.

As any geek knows, Marvel Studios has Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars coming up. Both films will deal with the multiverse, with Secret Wars being the ultimate Marvel crossover that’ll require as many characters from various universes as humanly possible.

A return for Blade (and others) seems entirely possible, whether or not that means a new solo film is anyone’s guess. But Mahershala Ali’s Blade reboot has been in development purgatory, so you never know…
