Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine landed back at the no. 1 spot for a 5th time during its 6th weekend at the box office, earning an estimated $15.1 million (-17% drop) and $19.4 million for the 4-day Labor Day holiday.
It had no problem topping Alien: Romulus ($9.3 million), It Ends With Us ($7.4 million), Regan ($7.4 million), Twisters ($7.16 million), faith-based The Forge ($4.6 million), Blink Twice ($4.68 million), Despicable Me 4 ($4.08 million), Afraid (3.7 million) and Coraline ($3.15 million).
Playing in 3,630 domestic theaters (a -210 drop from last weekend), director Shawn Levy’s film currently sits at $603.8 million in the USA.
Internationally, it added an estimated $13.9 million to its $658.4 million haul, bringing its worldwide total to $1.258 billion.
