Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine dropped to the no. 2 spot after its 7th weekend at the box office; this is only the 2nd time that’s happened since release. Playing in 3,400 theaters in the United States (-230 from last week), director Shawn Levy’s film pulled in $7.2 million (-53% drop) for a domestic total of $614 million.
Internationally, it added an estimated $8.4 million to a $637.2 million haul, bringing the worldwide total (so far) to $1,287.2 billion.
Other films in the top 10 include Beetlejuice Beetlejuice ($110 million 🤯), Reagan ($5.2 million), Alien: Romulus ($3.9 million), It Ends With Us ($3.75 million), The Forge ($2.935 million), Twisters ($2.235 million), Blink Twice ($2.1 million), Despicable Me 4 ($1.8 million) and The Front Room ($1.66 million).
