Magneto from writer & director Chris R. Notarile follows Erik Lehnsherr as he dons a costume, and attempts to be the hero the world needs, to bridge the gap between mutants and humans in an effort to follow Charles Xavier’s teachings & philosophies. It does not go well….
The fan film stars Jacob Bridges as Magneto with Justin Usle as Charles Xavier. Jessulyn Morgan portrays Gazelle, with Adam D. Choen & Mark Dasinger Jr appearing as the Friends of Humanity.
“There have been countless interpretations of the X-Men, so I’m not about to bother with which part of the lore this story fits into,” writes Notarile. “This story is simply meant to embody the fundamental ideological divisions between Magneto and Xavier, and how they will never be able to see eye to eye. It is also my explanation for why Magneto wears a bright red costume, and purple cape. Sure, we can just say he’s extra and call it a day, but what if there was something more, something deeper, behind his natural flare? That’s what I wanted this story to explore in this story.”
