Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine dropped to the no. 8 spot after its 11th weekend at the box office. Playing in 1,605 theaters in the United States (-370 from last week), director Shawn Levy’s film pulled in $1.52 million (-45.3% drop) for a domestic total of $633.8 million.
Internationally, it has a $694.7 million haul, bringing the worldwide total to $1,328.6 billion.
Rounding out the top 10 is a disastrous start for Warner Bros’ $200 million+ Joker: Folie à Deux ($37.8M), The Wild Robot ($18.7M), Beetlejuice Beetlejuice ($10.3M), Transformers One ($5.35M), Speak No Evil ($2.8M), Sam and Colby: The Legends of the Paranormal ($1.75M), White Bird ($1.5M), The Substance ($1.3M) and Megalopolis ($1M).
Deadpool & Wolverine is the second biggest film of 2024 domestically and worldwide, behind Disney’s Inside Out 2. The film is now available on digital retailers for purchase & rental. The 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray & DVD arrives in stores on October 22.
