DC Studios has released a new poster and teaser trailer preview for director and writer James Gunn’s Superman, the first theatrical film in the new DCU. The one-sheet features star David Corrnswet front and center as the legendary superhero. The full teaser trailer is expected to launch at 6am PT. In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.
Superman stars David Corenswet in the title role as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. The film also features Nathan Fillion, Edi Gathegi, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell and Anthony Carrigan.
The film arrives in theaters on July 11, 2025.
