Rumor: Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink Eyed For Coveted Jean Grey Role In The MCU

Scooper Jeff Sneider (via The InSneider) has a hot rumor that places Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink as the front-runner for Jean Grey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios is rumored to be looking at Sadie, 22 years old, to make an appearance as early as 2026 for Avengers: Doomsday (May 1, 2026), which will be followed-up with Avengers: Secret Wars (May 7, 2027).

The X-Men reboot penned by Michael Lesslie is still without a director attached, but that could change soon as Marvel’s mutants might arrive in theaters as early as 2027. The studio currently has an Untitled film slated for November 5, 2027; that date seems perfect to kick off The Mutant Saga!

As always, take any rumors with a grain of salt before being officially confirmed. While Sink may be at the top of the wish list, there isn’t word about negotiations actually taking place yet.
