Marvel Studios held the premiere for Captain America: Brave New World on Tuesday, and director Julis Onah’s film was met with mostly positive praise from those in attendance. Although, critics were more harsh – the movie is currently rotten on Rotten Tomatoes with 52% as of this posting. Stars Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez and Harrison Ford shared their experiences, which you can watch below.
After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross (Ford), Sam Wilson (Mackie) finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.
The film also stars Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Giancarlo Esposito as Seth Voelker/Sidewinder, Liv Tyler as Dr. Betty Ross and Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/the Leader.
There’s also a new behind the scenes featurette titled Unleashing The Red Hulk, showing how they brought the red goliath to the big screen.
Captain America: Brave New World soars into theaters this Friday.
