Original X-Men actors Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), James Marsden (Cyclops), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler) and Kelsey Grammer (Beast) were among the list of 26 actors announced for Marvel Studios’ highly-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, along with Deadpool & Wolverine actor Channing Tatum (Gambit). With the mega-news, a number of them took to social media to share with their fans.
Arriving in theaters on May 1 , 2026, Avengers: Doomsday will see the return a Robert Downey Jr. to the Marvel Cinematic Universe; this time as Victor Von Doom aka Doctor Doom! It will take Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and those from across the multiverse, to challenge a visionary new age in the MCU.
