Slated for release on December 18, 2026, Marvel Studios’ Avenger: Doomsday makes continues the milestone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by fully integrating X-Men into its main narrative. So far, we’ve seen the return of familiar mutants in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, The Marvels, and Deadpool & Wolverine. This crossover film not only brings together iconic characters from previous X-Men films, but also sets the stage for future mutant-centric storylines within the MCU.
A historic X-Men reunion! Helmed by directors Anthony and Joe Russo, the event movie features the return of several beloved actors from the original X-Men theatrical series:
