Pandora is calling once again. The newest trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash has officially dropped, teasing another visually breathtaking and emotional chapter in James Cameron’s groundbreaking saga. The film will debut exclusively in theaters on December 19th, promising audiences a return to the lush alien world unlike anything they’ve seen before.

Fans will also get a chance to revisit the saga’s second installment, Avatar: The Way of Water, which is returning to theaters in 3D for a limited one-week engagement beginning October 3rd.

In Fire and Ash, Cameron reunites audiences with Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), now fully committed to his life as a Na’vi leader, and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), the fierce warrior who continues to fight for her people and family. The film explores the Sully family as new threats rise, expanding the story’s scope while diving deeper into Pandora’s mysteries.

The creative team is as impressive as the cast list. The screenplay comes from James Cameron, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver, with story contributions by Cameron, Jaffa, Silver, Josh Friedman, and Shane Salerno. Familiar faces like Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang return, joined by a star-studded ensemble that includes Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, David Thewlis, Oona Chaplin, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Ribisi, and many others.
