Channing Tatum just dropped a warning to Marvel fans everywhere: brace yourselves.

The actor, who recently wrapped filming on Avengers: Doomsday (pending additional photography), spoke with Entertainment Tonight and made it clear that what’s coming will be unlike anything audiences have seen before in the MCU.

“You’re just not ready. Like, I don’t know how to describe it to you. It’s gonna make your brains ooze out of your ears. Like in the way that I knew when Blade walks on screen in Deadpool & Wolverine, people were going to physically lose their actual minds. It’s like that, but idk, maybe like times 50. I can’t divulge anything, but as a comic fan, you’re just not ready.”

That’s a massive statement, especially when you consider just how big Blade’s cameo moment hit. If Marvel is somehow topping that by “times 50,” then Doomsday is shaping up to be a full-on pop culture earthquake.

While Marvel Studios is keeping the plot tightly under wraps, the scale of Avengers: Doomsday has been teased as the next seismic step for the Multiverse Saga. One that could rival, or even surpass, the spectacle of Avengers: Endgame. Tatum’s hype only adds fuel to the fire.

So, what could possibly leave fans “not ready”? Surprise character returns? Universe-shattering team-ups? A villain reveal that no one sees coming? Whatever it is, Tatum seems convinced it will melt our collective minds.

One thing is for sure: the countdown has begun. Avengers: Doomsday storms into theaters on December 18, 2026.
