Netflix has dropped new sneak peek clips from Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, giving us our first real taste of the highly anticipated animated series. This marks the first-ever adaptation of Ubisoft’s acclaimed stealth video game franchise, and the footage proves that Sam Fisher (Liev Schreiber) is back, and he hasn’t lost a step.
The series finds legendary agent Sam Fisher (Liev Schreiber from X-Men Origins: Wolverine) reluctantly drawn back into the field when a young operative, who’s wounded, desperate, and searching for guidance, comes knocking at his door. What begins as a mentor-protégé relationship quickly escalates into something much bigger, pulling Fisher into a web of conspiracies that span the globe.
The project is produced by Ubisoft, with creative direction from Derek Kolstad (the writer behind John Wick), alongside animation powerhouse Sun Creature and production company Fost. Together, they’re bringing the world of Splinter Cell to life in a sleek, hard-edged style that blends cinematic action with the franchise’s signature espionage thrills.

In the shadowy world of espionage, Sam Fisher is a rumor and a legend. Pulled back into action, he must help a new recruit unravel a global conspiracy.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch premieres October 14 exclusively on Netflix.
