With Marvel Studios ramping up excitement for Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, one question continues to dominate fan conversations: could Hugh Jackman suit up as Wolverine yet again?

Jackman, who has played the character across two decades, added new fuel to the speculation during a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show. When asked about the possibility of returning as Logan beyond Deadpool & Wolverine, the actor played coy while flashing his signature humor.

“Maybe,” he said on the potential of him returning as Wolverine again in the MCU. “I’m never saying never ever again! I’ve done 10 films now, so I think they have enough for an A.I. version of me,” he joked.

Jackman’s comments instantly ignite conversation among fans who are already expecting Doomsday and Secret Wars to deliver multiverse-level surprises. With the MCU diving deep into alternate timelines and variants, the door is wide open for legacy actors to appear in unexpected ways, and Jackman knows it. Officially returning cast includes Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Kelsey Grammer, Channing Tatum and Alan Cumming.

Whether Marvel has more plans for Wolverine (’til he’s 90!) or this was simply Jackman having fun with the rumor mill, his remarks are sure to keep anticipation high as the next Avengers and X-Men era approaches.
