Amazon MGM Studios has unleashed the teaser trailer for Masters of the Universe, inviting audiences to rediscover the power of one of the most iconic fantasy franchises of all time. The teaser marks the first major look at the long-anticipated live-action return to Eternia, which blends classic mythology with modern blockbuster spectacle.

The teaser offers striking imagery and scale that signals this is a bold reimagining rather than a simple nostalgia play. The footage hints at Prince Adam’s journey toward embracing his destiny as He-Man, the wielder of the Sword of Power and the universe’s last hope.

Directing the film is Travis Knight, whose previous work on Bumblebee and Kubo and the Two Strings showcased his ability to balance emotional storytelling with visual ambition. His involvement suggests a character-driven approach to the material, grounding the fantasy elements while still delivering the scale fans expect from Eternia’s legendary battles.

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast led by Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam and his heroic alter ego, He-Man. Jared Leto takes on the role of Skeletor, Eternia’s most feared villain, while Idris Elba appears as Duncan, also known as Man-At-Arms, a trusted warrior and mentor. Camila Mendes stars as Teela, one of Eternia’s fiercest defenders, with Alison Brie portraying the sorceress Evil-Lyn. The supporting cast includes Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress, James Purefoy as King Randor, and Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena.

Masters of the Universe will be released exclusively in theaters on June 5.
