Sony and Prime Video have officially unveiled the first teaser trailer for Spider-Noir, giving us an early look at the gritty, live-action take on the iconic Marvel character. The series stars Nicolas Cage in the title role, bringing the fan-favorite noir version of Spider-Man to life in a stylized world inspired by classic crime dramas and pulp storytelling.
Set against shadowy cityscapes, the footage teases a story driven less by superpowers and more by moral choices and consequences. The tagline sets the tone immediately: “With no power comes no responsibility,” signaling a sharp twist compared to traditional Spider-Man projects.
Sony’s collaboration with Prime Video positions Spider-Noir as a distinctive entry in the expanding universe of Marvel-inspired television. Nicolas Cage’s casting is notable, as he previously voiced the character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, making this live-action portrayal feel like a natural evolution for the character and the actor alike.
Spider-Noir arrives May 27 on Prime and will be available in both Authentic Black & White and True-Hue Full Color, giving viewers the option to experience the series in a classic noir presentation or a modern visual style.
