DC Studios has unveiled a brand-new behind-the-scenes featurette for its upcoming Supergirl film, giving an early look at the direction of the project and the creative energy behind it. The footage highlights the production while introducing audiences to Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El.
Throughout the featurette, Alcock shares insight into her take on the character. The preview features candid moments from the set with shots from the film. It’s clear this interpretation of Supergirl aims to explore the character in a more grounded and personal way while still embracing the excitement and grander of a superhero story.
The film is directed by Craig Gillespie, with a script is written by Ana Nogueira,l. Alongside Alcock, the film features a supporting cast that helps build out this new chapter of DC storytelling.
