Sony Pictures has officially kicked off the next wave of excitement for Spider-Man: Brand New Day with the release of a brand-new poster and a behind-the-scenes featurette that teases the grounded approach taken when filming the upcoming film.

The newly released poster places Peter Parker front and center in a surprisingly subtle but emotional image. Peter is shown wearing his Spider-Man suit underneath everyday clothing, with the iconic red-and-blue costume visible beneath his hoodie and layered streetwear. The visual perfectly reflects the film’s theme of dual identity and isolation following the events that erased Peter Parker from the world’s memory.
Alongside the poster, Sony shared the tagline: “The world has forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them.”
The line immediately hints at the emotional direction of the story, emphasizing Peter’s loneliness while also reinforcing his continued responsibility as Spider-Man despite losing his personal connections.
Sony also debuted a new behind-the-scenes featurette highlighting the production’s use of practical stunts whenever possible. The footage showcases large-scale filming taking place directly on busy city streets, with real-world locations, and on-location action sequences helping bring Spider-Man’s world to life. The featurette gives a closer look at the grounded production style and suggests the film may lean into a more street-level atmosphere compared to previous entries.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31.
