A New Trailer For X-MEN ’97 Season 2 Leaks From Ontario Comic Convention

A new trailer for Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97 has found its way online, albeit unofficially. This marks the second time a convention trailer has leaked to the masses. The video comes from Comic Con Revolution via a post from NovaSilence on X.

Fans are still wondering why Marvel has yet to promote the animated series outside of conventions. Besides official merchandise drops, they have been rather quiet about season two. We do know it will premiere June 13 at the 2026 Tribeca festival ahead of its arrival (date TBA) on Disney Plus. Given the leak, the official trailer might come sooner rather than later. But Marvel is known for sticking to their promo plans regardless of leaks that occur.

The new season of X-Men ’97 will deal with the X-Men scattered across space and time, facing the villainous En Sabah Nur aka Apocalypse. We’ll be introduced to various mutant groups and characters from some of Marvel Comics’ biggest mutant titles in the 90’s and early 00’s.
