Prime Video has officially released the first look trailer for Vought Rising, the upcoming prequel spin-off set in the universe of The Boys. The easer gives a first glimpse at the early days of Vought International and the origins of the superpowered legacy that would eventually shape the dark and violent world seen in the hit series. The show is currently set to premiere in 2027 exclusively on Prime Video.

The first look teases a dangerous world where power, corruption, and celebrity culture are only beginning to take form. Accompanied by the tagline, “One nation, under gods,” the footage hints at the rise of supes and the foundation of the corporation that would become one of the most powerful forces in the world. The series is expected to explore the earliest history of Vought and the events that helped create the morally corrupt superhero empire fans know from The Boys.

Vought Rising stars Jensen Ackles reprising his role as Soldier Boy alongside Aya Cash returning as Stormfront, long before the events of the main series. The prequel is expected to dive deeper into the secretive origins of Compound V, the rise of Vought’s influence, and the twisted politics behind the creation of superheroes in America.
