Prime Video has released three new promotional videos for Spider-Noir, giving a special look at the acclaimed new Marvel series that is now streaming on MGM+ and Prime Video.
The first video, titled Opening Chase Scene, showcases the series’ stylish noir atmosphere right from the opening moments. Set against the shadowy streets of 1930s New York City, the sequence delivers a thrilling introduction to Nicolas Cage’s Ben Reilly, also known as The Spider.
The second video, The Spider Brutally Takes Out Mob Convoy, highlights the darker and more violent edge of the series. The action-packed scene features The Spider unleashing his unique brand of vigilante justice against a heavily armed criminal convoy.
Rounding out the trio of releases is Li Jun Li’s Performance of Dream A Little Dream Of Me. The video spotlights Li Jun Li’s Cat Hardy as she delivers a captivating rendition of the classic song, further emphasizing the series’ noir influences.
Based on Marvel Comics’ Spider-Man Noir mythology, Spider-Noir follows Ben Reilly, a seasoned and down-on-his-luck private investigator living in 1930s New York City. Haunted by a deeply personal tragedy and his former life as the city’s only superhero, Reilly is forced to confront his past when a dangerous new case pulls him back into the shadows. As corruption, organized crime, and super-powered threats tighten their grip on the city, The Spider must once again rise to protect New York. The series is available to watch in both black-and-white and “true-hue” color presentations.
The series stars Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly/The Spider, alongside Lamorne Morris as Robbie Robertson, Li Jun Li as Cat Hardy, Karen Rodriguez as Janet, Abraham Popoola as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone, Jack Huston as Flint Marko, and Brendan Gleeson as Silvermane.
Spider-Noir was developed by Oren Uziel, who also serves as co-showrunner alongside Steve Lightfoot. Executive producers include Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Amy Pascal, Nicolas Cage, Oren Uziel, Steve Lightfoot, and others. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television in association with Amazon MGM Studios, Lord Miller Productions, and Pascal Pictures.
