Nightcrawler And Mystique’s AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Costumes Spotted At D23

D23 is happening now, and attendees are getting a closeup look at the Avengers: Doomsday costumes for Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming) and Mystique (Rebecca Romijn). This is our first look (via IGN) at Kurt Wagner’s costume, as he didn’t appear in the film’s first trailer. Similar to his look in X2: X-Men United, he’s wearing a long coat, this time emblazoned with a black and red X, and two swords. The weapons harken back to his weapons of choice in the comic books. Mystique’s look pays homage to her iconic white dress as well.

Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters on December 18, 2026.
