Deadpool fans were royally upset at the portrayal of the character in 2009’s X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE. Thankfully producer Lauren Shuler Donner and director Tim Miller are hoping to bring the “merc with a mouth” to the big screen in a much more faithful adaption. Comic book writer Joe Kelly confirmed this recently while speaking to MTV.
“I’ve actually met with some of those guys over there and talked to them about the movie,” says Kelly. “From what I can tell, they’re aware of the fan reaction to how he was played in ‘Wolverine’ and are working very hard to make sure that he’s given his props. There’s definitely elements of stuff from my [Deadpool comic book] run that’s involved in the film. From what I’ve been told, I think it’ll be awesome.”
“Deadpool is a fantastic character, and if Ryan Reynolds still does him, that’d be really great.” he continues. “But regardless, [he] really does stand on his own. He’s such a cool, legitimately tortured anti-hero. And it would be kind of a nice shakeup for squeaky clean superhero movies that people have seen. So I sincerely hope it happens.”
i don’t know about that interview all i can said its super awesome the painting of the deadpool super awesome that;s alll i can say for the moment so i like it very and so much so unreal its look like one of the origins painting of the villains of Dc Universe i thing is DC i don’t know unless this guy Rob is explained to us if DC is in deadpool or the others marvel DC i don’t know i prefer to wait untill the fans see if the deadpool is Marvel or DC i don’t know coz i don’t know that much about superheroes all i know is Superman is in DC like batman and X-men is 20th Century fox that,s why i going to have to wait to see that what the fans said about Deadpool if deadpool is in DC or Marvel that,s all thank you
When are you morons going to accept that this movie will either never happen, or will be made as a direct to video feature. No one wants to see it.
