Red Carpet News TV caught up with X-MEN: FIRST CLASS star James McAvoy at the 2012 Empire Awards, where the actor briefly spoke about the developing sequel and how he thinks it should be handled.
“Hopefully [with the sequel, we’ll get] more of the same in that we don’t stick to the same routine.” said McAvoy. “I think what was good about the first movie is that we messed with the dynamic that you usually get with the ‘X-Men’ movies. I think we need to keep doing that…we can’t just fall into stride with any other stuff, so hopefully more of that.”
McAcoy says he has “no idea” when the sequel will be filmed.
