Although Jessica Biel is no longer in-talks for the role of Viper in THE WOLVERINE, the actress had some interesting things to say about the character, revealing new info to Crave Online:
“That particular character [Viper] was really cool. She was this vivacious woman who is thrilled about her own immortality, and it was interesting, that kind of persona, I thought, for a quote-unquote “villain” character. And I was really interested in the director, so it was worth the conversation.
Biel tried her best to explain, without going into detail about talks ending, saying “I was talking to them about it, hearing what it was about and everything. Yeah. It was not completely out of the realm of possibilities. We just couldn’t make it work.”
Russian actress Svetlana Khodchenkova was linked to the role a couple weeks ago. It’s assumed by now an offer has been finalized, as filming has just begun in Australia.
