Hugh Jackman recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about when he first learned of Wolverine’s large role in Bryan Singer’s upcoming X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.
“I first heard about it around October or November [2012]. I was literally finishing The Wolverine and dreaming about lasagna, and about three weeks before the end, they told me. There was no way I was not going to be part of that.”
Jackman joins a growing cast which includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen.
He has seen an eight-page synopsis for the film, and is awaiting to read the completed screenplay.

This better not be the Wolverine show or I may scream. I love love Hugh but want this to be an X-Men movie not a Wolverine movie. Also, STORM, STORM, STORM! That is all lol
@ nick… don’t worry. THE WOLVERINE will be Wolvie’s show. And Jackman will have a part in DAYS, but look at the lineup… I mean: Stewart, McKellen, McAvoy, Fassbender, Lawrence, Page… and counting… Berry will probably join forces, too… no, this will be the very definition of an ensemble movie. Believe me, and don’t worry!
Yeah.. Couldn’t agree more.. I can see this to be the X-men 4 although it is intentionally to be the sequel for the XFC.. Two sequels in one movie… Sound really interesting..
