Director Bryan Singer has been talking non-stop about X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, thanks to him promoting his upcoming film, “Jack the Giant Slayer.” Via Hit Fix, he explains how the film isn’t necessarily a direct sequel to X-MEN: FIRST CLASS or X3, but more of its own thing.
“This movie’s gonna be not only quite epic, ‘Days of Future Past,’ but it also takes place in completely different times than the ‘X Men’ movies have taken place,” said Singer. “There’ll be new technology, new things we haven’t seen before in ‘X-Men’ films. Certain characters and certain story and certain drama that hasn’t be done yet, so it’s not so much sequel. It’s more of its own kinda thing.”
“Beast” actor Nicholas Hoult also beams about his excitement for the returning original trilogy actors, saying…
“As much as it felt like a real ‘X Men’ film last time, because we were all a new cast it almost felt like it didn’t, whereas doing one with those guys is going to feel very much like…” he said, before adding that he’s going to be like a big fanboy.

This just keeps getting better and better… it’s gonna be huge! And in terms of nerdgasm, it will outdo the AVENGERS for sure… I mean, look at the lineup: Jackman, Stewart, McKellen, Fassbender, McAvoy, Hault, Lawrence, Page and more and more… all of them great actors.
Yeah.. Let’s not forget Anna Paquin is coming back as Rogue.. and she will gonna kick some ass now..
