It’s here! 20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, which you can watch below via the film’s official YouTube channel. Clocking in at 2:18, the preview focuses on the characters of the film, giving new looks at the futuristic timeline compared to its 70’s counterpart.
The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in “X-Men: Days of Future Past”. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past to save our future.

Epic, dark, lots of characters. Just as it was promised!
Looks like multiple timelines alright. We have the regular post WOLVERINE “present” timeline (old Xavier entering cerebro in the wheelchair), and the dark future.
I SAW ROGUE TWICE! BUT NO SENTINELS AND ACTIONS.. AND WHY ROGUE IS INJURED..

Based on Rogue’s outfit at 1:38, I’d say Magneto and Bobby are breaking her out of an internment camp
she is wearing an all white suit.. probably.. like Erik from the past uniform at 1:37.. and if that happens.. so Rogue’s power is down again..

No sentinels and Action because they are still developing. Singer told it yesterday. We will probably get a second teaser around Christmas, this time filled with SFX.
In case anyone wants to know: The music featered at the beginning of this teaser is from the SUNSHINE score (the same that was used in parts for the ORIGINS teaser back in 2009). It’s called “Escape the Icarus” and was written by Jon Murphy.
WHAT AN EPIC MOVIE! Well thats my opinion when I saw the first official trailer.
So many Questions!! So f Charles is in the past with no hope and the school is closed, then how did we gt the Current X men timeline that we all know already?
If the sentenels we created by trask in the 70’s timeline, how come they never showed up before in the other movies?
Why is beast not in his blue feral form?
If Magneto was alive during ww2 should he be like 90 in 2023?
Here’s my answer to your questions mates, some of it comes from understanding the whole film and manipulating the possibilities:
1. That’s how the time traveling occurs. Professor X convince his young self to have hope and it happens. that’s why the school continues and that’s why we have Xavier institute in the original series.
2. Let say, Trask presented his Sentinel project to the government on year 1970’s but it was manufactured on year 2013. The sentinels will appear on both present and eventually future. that’s why they need to convince or stop Trask from inventing it.
3. there are many explanation. one of it was it was just a hologramic thing that he needs to use when he’s outside, to conceal his beast form. or he experimented again and turn him to normal form but in the end, the beast inside him came out, a new humanoid appearance.
4. Its a not too distant future. so, Who knows.
1: It is the future we know sending wolverine back in time to prevent that furutre from happening. You see this after the wolverine which takes place after the last stand and Logan is comfused as to how charles is alive. they say we need your help. htere for they are tryin gto prevent the future we know.
2 ON the trask industries website for the movie you see the sentinels all thorugh out the time and with rreagan as president during the 80’s

4 Bryan singer stated it was 2023, which is 78 years after WWII ended.

Even thought there are no sentinels, VFX and action scenes in this trailer, it still looks very great! I can not imagine full trailer and movie. When will we see the second trailer? it’s hard to wait..
I agree this movie is going to be the best movie of Summer 2014 hands down! I would say around maybe February I would expect a second trailer by then majority if not all the Sentinel Visual Effects and other Special Effects will be done by then to show them. Either way cannot freaking wait! 😀
I would prefer if they did not spoil the Sentinels. I mean, come on… this is what comic book readers have been waiting to see for how long?
They should keep the trailers low profile. The did hell of a job with THE WOLVERINE trailers, you had no clue, that

They set up the characters, the tone of the film perfectly in those previews, but never spoiled the plot or the climax.
I hope they do exactly the same with DAYS.
