A new viral site for X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST has gone online! The conspiracy site tries to link Magneto with JFK’s assassination; a plot in the film which will take surprising turns. Special features include a video (see below) and lots of details from the world of “First Class,” including confirmation that Brotherhood of Mutants’ Angel Salvadore and Azazel are officially dead – killed by Project: Wideawake operatives.
Half a century ago, Magneto was implicated in the mutant plot to assassinate President John F. Kennedy. The events of that fateful day in November have been a point of contention between humans and the mutants ever since.
While knowledge of mutants was not yet public, rumors of individuals with strange abilities started surfacing from the Summer of 1963. Nearly a dozen mutants were secretly murdered by the CIA and the public suspicious of government involvement. American Citizens awaited a response from their President.
At least Mystique got pregnant first before Azazel died. But still couldn’t believe how a powerful teleporter died. Riptide should die..

While i don’t want to encourage constant fake deaths in the xmen universe, it says “records state that” Azazel died…. easy for a teleporter to appear to have been killed but actually have escaped.
I agree with Ken. Can’t believe azazel died, but I disagree that mystique is pregnant. Nightcrawler and Mystique doesn’t even know each other in X2.
Maybe Azazel fake his death. I don’t know but for Nightcrawler and Mystique relationship.. Everything is possible mate. It all comes with a great imagination and story writings from the director and creator. 😀
Mystique and Magneto don’t seem to be the best friends in the trailer, so maybe her and Azazel formed a relationship and had Nightcrawler while Magneto was in prison? Idk lol.
ı’ve read the full article. ı guess it says 50 years after the assasination magneto in the plastic cell. ı don’t understand how this happen. was he in prison all these years( 50 years).or he went prison on 2013? is it a different universe that x1,x2,x3 events never hapened? is killer mystique or someone like her? ( not oswald) so many questions….
All this shows is why Wolverine goes back in time, to stop these events from happening. In the end, he may succeed, but maybe not in time to save some of the characters we saw in First Class from dying.
Wolverine’s going back to 1973 though. Kennedy was assassinated in November of 1963…???
They show 1963 first as a prologe for why Wolverine travels back to 1973.
Wolverine goes to 1973 to stop Mystique from doing “something” that affects the future timeline in a BAD way.
My guess is the Kennedy assassination will feature as a credits, or perhaps pre-credits, sequence. With the film then ‘opening’ in 2023…
