The Wrap reports that actors T.J. Miller and Ed Skrein are in early talks to join Ryan Reynolds in DEADPOOL. Miller, who stars in HBO’s “Silicon Valley” and has roles in “Transformers: Age of Extinction” and “Big Hero 6,” is said to “serve as an additional comic voice to compliment Deadpool, who often breaks the fourth wall and speaks directly to the audience.” Skrein, who stars in “The Transporter Legacy” and “Game of Thrones,” is rumored to be up for the film’s villain.
Beginning production this March, the film will be directed by VFX wizard Tim Miller with a script by “Zombieland” writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Sean Haworth is on board as production designer, with Christine Bieselin Clark signed as costume designer. The film is being produced by Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg.
