Quicksilver actor Evan Peters tells I Am Rogue that he expects to return for Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. “I think so, yes,” he said. “I assume it as well, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to say and not supposed to say. I haven’t seen a script.”
We’ve known since October that his return was imminent after second unit director Brian Smrz told Newsarama “Well, there will be another Quicksilver scene, which I’m looking forward to; that’ll be fun.”
Peters will join a growing cast that includes James McAvoy as Professor X, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Hugh Jackman as Logan, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Tye Sheriden as Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler and Ian McKellen as elder Magneto.
Filming begins this April for a May 27, 2016 theatrical release.
