In Bryan Singer’s latest instagram post, the director reveals that he’s suffering a bit during pre-production on X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. “Broke my third metatarsal in my foot on vacation three weeks ago. Now hobbling through the X-set on my scooter,” he says. The photo shows him standing in front of the Xavier mansion staircase set, which is undergoing construction on a Montreal soundstage.
The X-mansion may play a bigger role this time out with young Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Cyclops (Tye Sheriden), Storm (Alexandra Shipp) and Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee) joining the film.
Production begins next month for a May 27, 2016 theatrical release.
Get well soon, Bryan!
