Michael Fassbender tells MTV News that X-MEN: APOCALYPSE fulfills his contractual obligations for playing Magneto on screen. The actor, along with his co-stars James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, all signed three-picture deals which started in 2011 with FIRST CLASS.
“I’m not sure,” he says when asked about future plans for the actors. “I presume [Lawrence and Hoult] are talking about contractually. All of us signed on for a three-film deal, so we’ll just wait and see what happens after this.”
Fassbender says he’s “Always interested in moving forward,” with future Magneto appearances.
