T.J. Miller recently appeared on Conan and comically spoke about his role as Wade Wilson’s right-hand man aka “Weasel” (pictured, above) in DEADPOOL. “At Marvel, they really don’t want us to talk about the movie and the specifics and give away any of the plot or anything,” Miller joked, “but I said I’m happy to talk about it, I don’t care.”
Conan: You will talk about it? Anything you can tell us? Is it an origin story?
T.J.: It is. It a way, everything is an origin story, Conan. We’re seeing how this character is coming about, where he comes from but also where he’s going to go. Ryan Reynolds does things in the film. Sometimes he doesn’t do anything at all. I do things in the film. Sometimes I’m not even in the movie. It’s a great film as you can tell.
Conan: Are there a lot…
T.J.: This itself is an origins story. Even this interview is the origin story of me, now my life begins after this interview.
Conan: A lot of stunts or stunts in the movie?
T.J.: Oh, year. The great thing about this film is there are a lot of stunts but then there aren’t any stunts. People say ‘T.J., do you do your own stunts?’ Yeah, because I might have stunts. At one point I just walk across the street. That’s all me, Conan.
Conan: Do you think Marvel will be very upset that you’ve told so much about the film tonight?
T.J.: They will be but also they won’t be.
