Bryan Singer today announced that THE ROGUE CUT extended edition of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will be available worldwide on DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital HD on July 14th, which also marks the 15th anniversary of X-MEN hitting theaters!
The release will feature more than 17 minutes of additional footage, including a nearly 10-minute sequence of Anna Paquin’s Rogue being rescued by Iceman, Magneto and Professor Xavier. Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique and Nicholas Hoult’s Beast will also find their romantic subplot reintegrated into the film.

Singer used the new live-streaming app Periscope to give fans the details and also preview a behind the scenes look from the set of X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Producer/Writer Simon Kinberg was on set, along with “Magneto” actor, Michael Fassbender, who’s filming scenes near a bunch of manhole covers that will surely provide for an awesome effects sequence.
Miss @BryanSinger's #RogueCut announcement on @Periscopeco yesterday? The #XMen are all about second chances:
