The first trailer for DEADPOOL has been classified and will run at 2:24 minutes, according to Alberta Film Ratings. It will screen theatrically with Fox’s FANTASTIC 4 beginning August 7th, but will likely make its online debut much earlier, along with an R-rated cut.
Filmed in Vancouver over 10 weeks, the Ryan Reynolds’ starring film is directed by Tim Miller based off a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. It costars Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Ed Skrein as Ajax and Gina Carano as Angel Dust.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, “Deadpool” tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
watch Renyolds in Blade Trinity and Green Lantern. Nuff said on much this movie will stink.
Reynolds was born for this role. I never saw him as Green Lantern. Thought he did ok in Blade Trinity. Annoying as hell, but that was how the character was written.
