Hugh Jackman wants Tom Hardy as next Wolverine.

While doing promo for ‘Pan,’ X-MEN star Hugh Jackman told MTV that ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star Tom Hardy would be a “great” follow-up as Wolverine in Fox’s ever-evolving cinematic universe. “He’s younger than me for sure,” he joked.

Jackman hopes to film the James Mangold-directed WOLVERINE finale next year for release on March, 3 2017. He’s producing, along with Lauren Shuler Donner. The screenplay is being written by Michael Green, who’s also writing on Ridley Scott’s ‘Blade Runner’ and ‘Alien: Paradise Lost’ projects.
