Nicholas Hoult told Collider that filming X-MEN: APOCALYPSE as Beast was not “strikingly different” from the productions of FIRST CLASS and DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.
“Nope. It’s always a thing when you go back and see everyone, you’re getting along really well, it’s fun,” he said. “So no, I don’t think there was anything strikingly different , but maybe I’m just not a very observant person.”
When asked about co-star Oscar Isaac, who portrays the film’s title villain, Hoult revealed that his character doesn’t have “a whole lot” of scenes with Apocalypse.
“We didn’t have a whole lot of scenes together, to be honest with you. From what I’ve seen in the film, obviously I’m a fan originally anyways, but his performance is ppenomenous and yeah, he’s a good bad guy. He likes to eat a banana during every take.”
The fourth X-MEN film helmed by Bryan Singer releases in 3D and premium large format theaters on May 27, 2016.

He is very weak as Beast
bring back Kelsey Grammer!
I don’t care… its quite silly that it only took Kelsey Grammer 1 film (which is directed by Brett Ratner) to nail Beast. And yet we are getting three films with Nicholas Weak Hoult as an awkward mutant who is rarely seen as a blue fur mutant in a span of six years…. geez! So you’re telling me by the 8th time that he played Beast, he would just nail it by then? No.
Mannerisms/looks wise/body type – Kelsey Grammer is Beast. Nicholas Hoult is not. I hope this is his last film.
