“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Black Mass” and upcoming “Batman v Superman” composer, Tom Holkenborg aka Junkie XL revealed that he’s creating music for director Tim Miller’s DEADPOOL. “On Monday I will start on Deadpool!!!” he tweeted on Saturday. “So excited!!!”
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, the Ryan Reynolds-starring film tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson (Reynolds), who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man (Ed Skrein) who nearly destroyed his life.
The film comes to theaters on February 12, 2016.
