X-MEN: APOCALYPSE clip shows origin of Cyclops’ concussive force powers.

20th Century Fox has released a new clip from X-MEN: APOCALYPSE featuring Tye Sheridan as Cyclops. In it, we see the origin of Scott Summers’ mutant powers activating while he’s at school. What’s interesting is that director Bryan Singer originally intended to film this scene for the very first X-Men in 2000.

The scene also features actor Anthony Konechny, who’s listed as Sam. Before this clip release, the assumption was that he was playing Sam Guthrie aka Cannonball. Now we know what the real deal is.
