Thursday’s issue of Empire Magazine features two exclusive images from Hugh Jackman’s final Wolverine film, LOGAN. The first (above) features his character carrying a handcuffed Laura/X-23 (played by Dafne Keen). The second photo will feature an on-set image of Jackman with co-star Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier).
“The goal was to make something human,” says director James Mangold, about showing the vulnerable side of Marvel’s most iconic mutant. “We made an effort to scale back on the gloss and green-screen.”
Jackman agrees, saying “It’s essential you see this as the story of a man who is struggling with mortality and legacy and whether the world has been better off with him or without him.”

“Logan” comes to theaters on March 3, 2017.
