Three new LOGAN photos: Richard E. Grant’s character confirmed and more!

The official LOGAN instagram has posted a new black and white photo of cast member Richard E. Grant, who plays Dr. Zander Rice in the film.

First appearing in Marvel Comics’ X-23 #1 comic book in 2005, Rice recreates the Weapon X experiment which gave Wolverine his adamantiuum claws. His father worked on the original program, but was killed after Logan escaped. Along with Dr. Sarah Kinney, Rice brings Laura/X-23 to life. He’s an evil individual, forcing the young mutant to do his bidding, while abusing her in the process.

20th Century Fox held a presentation of their upcoming genre films, where they screened the entire first act (40 minutes) of “Logan” to rave reviews. Attendees received a special photo book which contained two new photos from the film, thanks to Leon Brill and Paul Shirey.

A new 91-second trailer has also been recently classified, so we should be expected new footage in the coming days/weeks.
