According to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Man of Steel’ actor Michael Shannon “has emerged as the frontrunner” for the ever-important role of Cable.
The actor is allegedly “leading the pack” among other actors on the studio’s shortlist, which includes ‘Stranger Things’ star David Harbour.
‘Atlanta’ actress Zazie Beetz was previously announced as portraying Domino.
The sequel will film sometime this summer in Vancouver.
