Fox’s THE GIFTED stars Emma Dumont and Jamie Chung on hopes for season two.

Fox’s THE GIFTED is gearing up for their Comic Con International panel this Saturday in San Diego with two video featurettes (featuring no new footage). Stars Emma Dumont and Jamie Chung talk about personal hopes for their respective characters in Fall 2018’s season two.

“I would love to explore more of her bi-polar disorder.” says Dumont on her portrayal of the metal-manipulating mutant Lorna Dane aka Polaris. “[It] would be awesome, I mean obviously it affects everything she does, but just to have people be more exposed to that, that would be very cool.

Hinting towards the character’s familial ties with Magneto, Dumont says she would “obviously” like to see “more of her ancestry and family to be revealed…”

Chung says she “really wants [to] see” her portal-opening character Clarice Fong aka Blink “stand up and fight against these bigots. I want to see her overcome her adversities and fight for the real cause, which is equality.”

The Gifted returns September 25 on a new time day – Tuesdays at 8PM/7C.
