Director Simon Kinberg’s DARK PHOENIX is gearing up for reshoots in Montreal, as production crew prepare for filming with the cast. Kinberg recently shared (via an IG story) a gift from his cinematographer Mauro Fiore, with the film’s working title “Teen Spirit” labeled on a Panavision anamorphic lens.

Thanks to our favorite detective @MiaSaenzD3, we know that Kodi Smit-McPhee’s stunt double Jesse La Flair is in Montreal for seven weeks, very likely confirming the Nightcrawler actor’s involvement in the reshoots.

Weeks ago, professional wig maker Stacey Butterworth also revealed that she was working on recreating Jean Grey’s red hairpiece actress Sophie Turner.
It’s not certain how long the actors will actually be on set filming, as there were conflicting reports saying the reshoots could run anywhere from a couple weeks to three months. We’ll just have to wait and see on that.
Dark Phoenix is currently expected to arrive in theaters on February 14, 2019.
