DARK PHOENIX cast arrives in Montreal for reshoots.

Thanks to @MiaSaenzD3, we know that DARK PHOENIX actors Jessica Chastain and Kodi Smit-McPhee have given signs that reshoots for Simon Kinberg’s upcoming X-Men film have started. In a recent IG post, Chastain showed herself (briefly) in her “Smith” makeup/wig with the director.

Days before that, Chastain revealed that she completed work on the “It” sequel, giving indication that she and Professor X actor James McAvoy were available for additional filming. Early reports said reshoots will involve scenes between the two actors and large sections of the third act involving many of the cast.

Nightcrawler actor Smit-McPhee should be already be in Montreal now, as the actor shared days ago that he was “Heading to the re-shoots for X-Men Dark Phoenix soon!

His stunt double (Jesse La Flair), along with those for Jean Grey actress Sophie Turner (Holly Raczynski) and Best actor Nicholas Hoult Mich Todorovic) are on-location as we speak.

Dark Phoenix flies into theaters on February 14, 2019.
