DARK PHOENIX: Alexandra Shipp takes flight in behind the scenes video prepping for Storm.

DARK PHOENIX actress Alexandra Shipp shared a very brief (but awesome) behind the scenes clip of her practicing the rigging system which allows her to take flight as the weather-manipulating mutant Storm. She’s shown, out of costume, rising into the air with leg tilted and then lowering down like a true Goddess.

While we didn’t get to see Storm take flight or use her powers in the first trailer, the second will surely features the shots fans are waiting for.

Dark Phoenix flies into theaters on June 7, 2019.
