Keanu Reeves: “I’d love to play Wolverine.”

Screen Geek recently asked Keanu Reeves about any comic book roles he might be interested. In the past, the actor expressed interest in Wolverine, but it was (at the time) tied to Hugh Jackman for more than 17 years. Now with the Jack removed from the role, would Reeves still be interested in tackling Marvel’s most iconic mutant?

“I’d love to play Wolverine,” he said when asked about portraying Marvel’s most iconic mutant. When pressed for other comic book roles he’d be interested in, he didn’t have any others.

With Disney’s upcoming acquisition of 20th Century Fox in 2019, it’s only a matter of time before the Marvel Studios decides to reboot the role with another actor. To get a better idea of how Reeves could look in the role, check out this fan artwork by popular artist Boss Logic.
