A trailer for DARK PHOENIX has been classified in the UK.

Update: According to Trailer Track, “This is, from our understanding, a shortened version of the first trailer from September. NOT a brand new one.”

The highly-anticipated second trailer for 20th Century Fox’s DARK PHOENIX has been classified! Thanks to the British Board of Film Classification, we know the UK trailer will run at 1 minute and 31 seconds. This is 39 seconds less than the original trailer, which premiered last September.

So what can we expect from it? It’s anyone’s guess, but many fans are hoping to get a better look at the film’s action scenes and visual effects. At under 2 minutes, this should hopefully be a tightly-edited feast for the eyes.

The trailer is rumored to appear theatrically with Fox’s own ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL (February 14); we’re still awaiting official confirmation on that. If not Alita, then Marvel Studios’ CAPTAIN MARVEL (March 8) is the next most likely candidate.
